Neuromodulator Treatments (Botox, Dysport, etc.)

Protein is injected into muscle cells of the face, causing the injection site to relax. These treatments soften areas where expression lines already exist; or prevent the appearance and aggravation of wrinkles. Examples of places suitable for this therapy: the horizontal wrinkles on the forehead, the glabella (vertical lines between the eyebrows- “the elevens”), fine wrinkles beside the eyes— “crow’s feet,” the lines around the mouth, or on each side of the chin (the “upside-down” smile).

Maximum effect 14 days after treatment and it lasts about 3 months.

Fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, etc.)

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the body that contributes to the hydration of the skin. It can be used as a means of facial rejuvenation, acting as a filler if injected into wrinkles or other depressed areas of the face. It can be used to add volume, fill in deep folds, increase lip volume, and shape the contour of the face, including the cheekbones and chin. It is effective for places with deep wrinkles, such as “marionette lines” between the nose and the corner of the mouth. It also allows you to “fill in” places where the volume decreases with age, such as the temples and the cheekbones. The maximum effect is achieved after 14 days and lasts for between 8 and 24 months, (depending on the type of treatment).

PRP or Vampire Facelift

In this dramatically named, but non-invasive treatment, blood is drawn from your arm then centrifuged to extract the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which contains your own stem cells and growth factors. The PRP is then reintroduced to your face via microneedling, resulting in regeneration of your tissues; smoother, younger, and healthier looking skin.
